Powerhouse Ranveer Singh Joins McDonald’s India (North & East) as Brand Ambassador, Launches ‘The Ranveer Singh Meal’

New Delhi, 10th June 2025: McDonald’s India (North & East), one of India’s most loved restaurant brands, has onboarded Bollywood powerhouse Ranveer Singh as its new brand ambassador. As part of this partnership, the brand has also launched the ‘The Ranveer Singh Meal’, a limited time offering curated from the actor’s personal McDonald’s favourites inspired by its global Famous Orders platform. 

 

With his favourite McDonald’s order on the menu, Ranveer Singh joins a global league of icons like BTS and Travis Scott, who have McDonald’s meals named after them. His vibrant energy, cultural relevance, and deep connection with young audiences make him a natural fit for a brand that’s all about fun, flavour, and fan love across generations.

The Ranveer Singh Meal, available from 13 June, is a 3-piece meal featuring two burger options, McVeggie® (Xplode) for veg lovers and McChicken® (Xplode) for non-veg lovers, along with a Bobaaa drink and Golden Pop Fries. Inspired by Ranveer’s vibrant personality, both burgers are elevated with a new chilli and creamy Xplode sauce, topped with golden crispy onions. This bold upgrade delivers richer flavours and a delightful crunch, turning familiar favourites into something fun and crave-worthy.

 

Paired with this are the all-new Golden Crispy Pop- bite-sized potato pops delivering the perfect crunch-pop combo ideal for munching. A green step everyday builds a Cleaner India: John Abraham leads the Chennai’s Beach Clean up drive

This World Environment Day, it is Lights, Camera… Clean-Up! John Abraham – Garnier India’s Brand Ambassador was spotted ditching the spotlight for sand and sustainability! The Bollywood star joined hundreds of student volunteers on Chennai’s shores, rolling up his sleeves for a beach clean-up drive led by Garnier in collaboration with the Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban on the weekend. 

The campaign, part of Garnier’s Green Beauty initiative, kicked off across 8 Indian coastal cities including Mumbai, Goa, Vizag, Pondicherry, and more—aiming to raise awareness and action around plastic waste with a powerful message: Take One Green Step. The event, with music, student energy, beach selfies, and John in action-mode, it was a visual spectacle with a purpose.

Marathi star Prathamesh Parab to now play a lead role in a Hindi Film

Many Marathi actors have made a mark in the Hindi film industry over the years. Now, another name is about to be added to that list. Beloved by audiences and known for his captivating performances in Marathi cinema, Maharashtra’s favorite actor Prathamesh Parab is all set to play the lead role in a Hindi film after having starred in lead roles in Marathi films.

Prathamesh will be seen in the lead role in the upcoming Hindi film 'Pauder'. Produced by Sameer Shaikh under the banner of Gulmohar Talkies, the film is being directed by Aditya Kelgaonkar. While Prathamesh has previously appeared in supporting roles in several Hindi films, 'Pauder' marks his debut as a lead actor in Hindi cinema.

Their ongoing Colors show, Meri Bhavya Life, comes as another icebreaker on the small screen, focusing on a critical issue of body shaming. At a time when TV follows the tried and tested tracks, Sunjoy stressed that the show is a testament to the true value of his production house that is bringing something new and unique. 

He remarked, “For us, it wasn’t a risk but rather an intriguing concept. Considering Sphereorigins’ history, we have always explored unique ideas, from Balika to Saath Phere and Gangaa, so it didn’t feel risky. It has a modern feel and addresses a topic that society labels as an issue.”

“While the younger generation may not perceive it that way, society constantly reminds them that it is, in fact, an issue. It is a compelling story about a confident girl who is surrounded by a world that only focuses on her weight,” he added. 

When asked if he thinks this story is more relevant today than it would have been in the 90s or early 2000s, he responded affirmatively, while also noting that the topic is timeless and would have been suitable at any point in time. He said, 

“The times change, but issues are still the same most of the time. But right now I see it from the lens of a younger generation, and in the 90s, we would have possibly not been able to tap that younger generation. The world has moved on from the 90s to 2000 and 2025, and a whole new generation is there, and these body-shaming issues are more prevalent with the younger generation; however, the best part is that they are very confident about it,“ says Sunjoy Waddhwa. 

“They do not really see it as an issue because it's an individuality, but unfortunately, as I said earlier, the society keeps reminding them. Also, because of the lack of social media in the 90s, the issue was not so much out in the open. So social media played a great part in it and the essence of the story transcends time,” he ended.
