The Youth Voice Worldwide and Hollywood Filmmaker, Nandita Singgha believes that family support means the world for a Crime Journalist as he/she leaves his/her home fearlessly for the passion of their profession knowing that they might not return back home safely as they might even end up getting killed since they expose the culprits through their crime stories. J DEY has an unparalleled emotional appeal and with this story Nandita as Writer and Director pays tribute to Journalism of Maharashtra and their patriotism. She has chosen her team after thorough research and analysis since its a very emotional story of how journalists lead their day to day lives and how their families adapt to the insecurity, hazard and threat to their lives. After being made in Marathi J DEY movie will be later dubbed in Hindi and English also to reach out to the audience not only in India but in Hollywood and other countries too.

This subject is very close to Nandita Singgha’s heart and she will showcase how lakhs of journalists are jobless but due to their passion and inner drive they remain the social heroes of the society. She firmly believes that to portray any story loaded with emotions, there is no language barrier for the Story & Screenplay of any movie.

Michelle has even shortlisted Hrithik Roshan for Hollywood movie MEGACORP after seeing the FANS Poll Results response where Crores of people viewed not only in India but overseas as well which resulted in more than 1 Lakh shares in the poll conducted by a renowned Bollywood website (Bollywood Life). Michelle said,” This reconfirmed my faith about Hrithik Roshan’s popularity in India as I had already referred him to the Hollywood Production House after watching his latest ad film of Mountain Dew with the tagline Dar ke aage Jeet hai .I strongly felt that Hrithik should have been in Hollywood long back as he can add value with his freshness in Hollywood movies. MEGACORP will be shot in Namibia from December 2016 onwards and 80 % will be completed in One schedule itself. Hrithik’s details and ad film video have been sent to the Hollywood production house for approval and consideration and accordingly if everything works out I too will join them in US.”

The Hollywood production company is extremely happy with Michelle. The shooting location for MEGACORP does not have proper facilities for boarding and lodging since its a realistic location and is located in a remote location in Namibia but Nandita Singgha says we are here to meet all challenges then only the true incident based movie MEGACORP with entertainment value will be liked by audience worldwide. Let’s wait and watch what’s there in store for this film project. The Hollywood production house based in US will announce formally the entire Cast & Crew in October 2016 before the shoot starts as part of marketing and publicity campaign. She reiterates, “In the MEGACORP movie I am only the Director and all decisions are taken by the Hollywood Production House.”

Aamir Khan Hindi Film Industry Actor was never approached by Me for Hollywood Movie MEGACORP Says Nandita Singgha (Michelle) To Clarify All Rumours

Hollywood Filmmaker Michelle better known as Nandita Singgha in India says every actor is good and I have great respect for Mr. Aamir Khan for his Hindi movies.

He has showcased his talent with a proven track record and there is no doubt in terms of excellence in his meticulous acting skills. However for the Hollywood movie MEGACORP which I am only Directing I had never approached him though he was on my wishlist for another Hollywood & Bollywood flick Mid Dey which I am Producing and Directing as well in co- Production with Hollywood production house based in US.

Aamir Khan with Satyamev Jayate image could have done justice to J Dey ‘s role however there’s another A Grade Star who is in consideration who knew J Dey personally too who can get into the skin of the character and also do proper justice to showcase the greatness of Indian Journalism globally. 

However the Final Draft of Mid Dey and other pending delays by the creative writers, Co- writers of Mid Dey has delayed the Project which she had announced in the month of March 2015 and now out of her 4 movies RED,J Returns,MEGACORP and Mid Dey and thus Mid Dey film will now be the last release.
Mid Dey shoot will commence in March 2017 and will give enough time to the actors to get into the skin of the character and the dates will also be managed along with a renowned Hollywood actress. Nandita will first shoot for J Returns then later her dates are in the process of being blocked. MidDey will now release after MEGACORP in December 2017 due to dates scheduling and preparation by A grade Hindi film industry star. The preparation from writers are still pending for the final draft.

J Returns Directed and Produced by Nandita Singgha is focussed on Indian Journalism.

Regarding the shoot,35 percent of J Returns movie has been shot in Delhi and all the technical crew including the First Assistant Director and Chief Assistant Director are from UK.

Since it's an International movie, a Top Young Hollywood actress is in consideration who will star both in J RETURNS and MIDDEY. The remaining major part of the shoot will cover various parts of INDIA such as Chennai, Mumbai, Punjab , Kolkata along with UK , GERMANY & MACAU.

Gujarat Tech Univ Felicitates Nandita Singgha on her birthday

Everyone is not blessed with a silver spoon, there are only a handful who create their own destiny. Nandita Singgha is definitely one of them who was born on  this planet on 27 th July.

Gujarat Technology University(GTU) as a Technology entrepreneur and Youth Voice Worldwide to motivate the Youth of India .

She was highly appreciated in school in U.S at the age of 5 itself for making a dummy radio station to communicate with her group of friends.Thus at the age of 5 years the spark was ignited within her to make her mark in the field of technology ! It was only at the tender age of 13 when she won the World Debate Competition at Durban and received scholarship of 30,000 US Dollars she convinced the Sponsors 3M (VSD Division) and MOTOROLA Wireless Communication to train her to become a Technology Entrepreneur.She believed that if Michael Dell, Founder of DELL Computers could start his business venture at 14 Years then why not her .

The child prodigy became one of the inventors in the field of Video Conferencing technology in times to come.There was no looking back as she went on to receive various technology awards worldwide including the Best in Marketing Technology solutions.Then she made her mark as an ad filmmaker by doing 430 ads in the Digital Content Sharing space starting from 2005. Trained by inventors, Nandita Singgha rose up to become another inventor but added cloud computing , webcasting, which was ahead of US and JAPAN and even others worldwide.In fact she had advanced 4 years ahead of their technology . She customised Audio 4K to make audio more crisp and this is still not available by any inventor worldwide in the field of Video Conferencing. She focused on customised solutions as per the organisation applications and solutions on their network. Being ahead of time with others in the race she received an award from IDG Media group of magazines worldwide,a US based company for the “BEST IN ENTERPRISE” solutions last year in 2014 in INDIA. Nandita Singgha’s parents who are from creative theatre and direction field wanted her to start movies in English and Hindi and create the same impact . They always wanted her to be in this field but Nandita Singgha believed that she should first focus on preparation and then churn out movies so she parallely started delegating her work to her CEO and CFO along with the company’s expansion plans and started focusing on only launching new products as a technologist and inventor.

India's First Woman Film maker to direct an International Film on Indian Crime Journalism

Nandita Singgha is presently writing,producing and even directing four films with journalistic background. The films are 1: MID-DEY 2:J RETURNS 3: MEGA CORP and 4: RED. She has already shot 35% of the first two films MID-DEY and J. RETURNS in Delhi. The character who will play the role of  J. DEY will be an A List actor who will be shortly announced by her.The film MID-DEY is all set for completion by September-October and will be released in December 2015 itself while the sequel J.RETURNS will be released in March 2016.

Excerpts from a brief chat with Nandita Singgha.

How did the idea of making a films on  journalistic background  come to you ?

The broad daylight murder of J. Dey was the most shocking thing to happen. I just started probing the life of a journalist. I found that the pen of the journalist is the most powerful. He or she who is a journalist can easily come out with a story without any fear.When you compare a journalist with a lawyer or a policeman, we find that the journalist is doing far better service to mankind. A lawyer can lie . A policeman can file an FIR which can turn out to be fabricated too. But the journalist will write his story after his own true research and then the whole society reads it and applauds it too. Here was J. Dey who was writing a book on FIVE GANGSTERS and he paid his price to the bullet .That means a real journalist's life is totally insecure. I am also fighting for the rights for journalists. There is no pension scheme for journalists. Why ? Half of the courses in journalism in India have closed their shops as they say Journalism is not a paying job. I found the journalists very hardworking who write and have no regular duty hours. They even come late night to their house as they have to complete a dead line for their stories. If so much hard work a journalist can do the why is the Government not helping them to get them benefits. 

The same journalists have made Modi jee the Prime Minister, Kejriwal the CM of Delhi, made Anna Hazare a national Hero and all the actors owe their stardom to journalists.It is now pay back time. In my own humble way , I am glorifying and highlighting the life of a journalist and that too with the eye of a lady journalist from U.K. who is shocked to see the life and times of an Indian journalist.I am the first woman filmmaker to direct an international film on Indian crime journalism.To give more authenticity to my films, I have also taken help of few  journalists to write the scripts and some  of them are creative writers too. It took 16 drafts to complete the first script of al the four films.

You come from a corporate world and you have seen the rise and rise of corporates who have taken over the media in a big way . Comments.

Yes, today corporates have understood the strength of the media and are investing in a big way. The good old days of aristrocatic journalism is also coming back. Some of my old friends have been great editors too. I was a child when I had met Khushwant Singh several times.I was only 13 years old when I first won a debate  and a prize money  of 30,000 US dollars in Durban. Two American companies Motorolla and  3 M gave me training in technology and I introduced  the first video conferencing in the Asia-Pacific region. I even got several international awards for years together. I then branched out to advertisement shorts and have already made more than 430 advt. shorts for the digital world. Today, I have over 20 offices world wide and have more than 8,000 employees working for my company TOTAL PRESENTATION DEVICES LIMITED.

It is easy for the corporates to operate in a regularised manner. Hence the corporates are making their own killing in the Bollywood film industry too.

Coming back to your filmmaking journey, how has been the experience so far ?

I have already made eleven films in South in all the languages i.e. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. I have even directed a Bollywood film in 2007. I was always passionate in my work and I found that technically we are now very superior, almost every big director is making good cinema but only a handful of them are really concentrating in the content of the film. I liked the way A.R..Murugudoss makes his films. He is more focussed towards the content and knows to thrill the audiences with good stories which caters to all age groups. I appreciate his style of filmmaking. Also, I adore the style of Rakeysh Om Prakash .Even I will want to be known as a sensitive filmmaker who makes meaningful films with a purpose and also which has youth appeal. I have taken 37 characters who are all journalists in MID-DEY and J. RETURNS. Most of them are from NSD. It will be  a hardcore commercial film too with music, songs, fights etc.
