Akasa Singh, born and brought up in Mumbai, hails from a musical family. Father Arvinder Singh is a singer and music director.Since the age of 12 Akasa has been on stage performing for various colleges, as singer, anchor and entertainer. 

At 17, Akasa joined famous Bollywood singer Mika Singh's band as the lead female vocalist. For four years after, she performed with him and his band all over the globe- India as well as International audiences in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Russia, Switzerland etc- to name a few. 

Akasa is known for her upbeat and entertaining performances and for stirring up a fun and lively atmosphere amongst the audience. 

She gained internet popularity from her video "Brown rang" on YouTube, that garnered a lot of views and also got the attention of Yo Yo Honey Singh who chose her to be amongst the top 10 of reality show Indias Rawstar. 

However, since due to prior commitments and gigs, Akasa couldn't enter the show, she later entered the famous reality show INDIAS RAWSTAR as wild card, where in she challenged 7 boys being the only girl. 

She won many hearts with her versatile performances- rapping, dancing, singing and making the viewers groove with her. She is one of the Top 5 artistes of RAWSTAR and the only girl. 

Her then Mentor on the show Himesh Reshammiya was mighty impressed with her and promised her a movie song on national television. 

True to his promise, post RAWSTAR, he gave Akasa her first Bollywood break with Tu Kheech Meri Photo in the movie Sanam Teri Kasam. The song went on to become the selfie anthem of the year and caught public interest aplenty. 

Akasa's fresh voice has  garnered a lot of attention of music directors and she has since been approached by music directors like Pritam, Sachin-Jigar, etc. Akasa's YouTube covers of songs like Judaai and Jugni ji gained a lot of popularity on social media.

Filmy Town catches up with Uvie who has rendered the male voice which complements Kanika Kapoor’s song – Jawaani Le Doobi from the upcoming film ‘Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3′.

UVIE began his career in association with T-Series where he used to render his voice to sing Bhajans. Simultaneously he has recorded re-mix versions of more than 100 Bhajans and then came a phase when realized that he was stuck at one point, and it was that burning itch within him which wanted to do filmy music.

“My funda is to put in all the effort in work, come up with good music, and then it is an universal fact that money always follows fame,” says this soft spoken lad who holds a M.A. Degree in Music vocal with distinction from Punjab University Chandigarh.

Arjuna Harjai an Indian film composer, Musician and singer, working in Bollywood. After working as a jingle composer, he debuted as a film scorer in the 2011 with Hindi film, and debuted as a composer with Priyanshu Chatterjee starer Calapor for which he composed four original songs and background score (2013), His soon to release film Titoo MBA.

Arjuna cemented his career in classical music at a very young age under the guidance of his parents mainly influenced by Ghazal style. At an early age of 11, he started learning piano and studied till the grade 8th of Trinity College, later he also studied jazz and counterpoint composition with various teachers.

Having done all songs in his first commercial film along with background of the film, exhibits nothing but sheer brilliance of the man who left no stone unturned to follow his dreams and be a self made man, what he is today.

Well known for composing and singing advertising jingles he had his platter full with brands such as Cadbury Bournville, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Lenovo, Big Bazaar, Samsung, Maruti, Sprite, MTNL, Lovely Professional University, Ayur, Manhunt, Hillman, Marvel Tea, Lovely Sweets among others under his kitty, Arjuna has also assisted popular music composer Lalit Pandit for over a year on projects like Besharam as well.

Summarizing his journey Arjuna says “Advertising will always be my passion as this is where I started from. When I was a part of advertising industry I have usually received praise for my art. But I knew my inclination and passion was always towards Music. Being a part of this wonderful Music Industry is an absolute delight and now for me it’s just music”.
