Shaandaar crew consumed around 137 shots of coffee for 'Neend na mujhko aaye'

Yes, you heard that right! The Shaandaar crew consumed about 137 espresso coffee shots to stay awake all night to shoot the song 'Neend na mujhko aaye'.

The song in question was shot over a period of 4 days, each day the crew would consume a high dose of caffeine to shoot throughout the night.

The song involved about 60 crew members shooting throughout the night along with the film's star cast.
The song is a  recreated version of the popular track from the 1958 film Post Box 999, Neend Na Mujhko Aaye (picturised on Sunil Dutt and Shakeela).
The Shaandaar version of the popular track is recreated by Mikey McCleary and picturised on Alia and Shahid.

The song is to feature the brewing love story between both the insomniacs played by Shahid and Alia.

As the song has a long standing history with coffee, the makers of Shaandaar are to launch the track 'Neend na mujhko aaye' at midnight on October 8th in a coffee shop.

The film has generated a lot of buzz with the release of each of its music tracks and Neend na mujhko aaye seems to be one of the latest addition to this trend.

The films posters, trailer and songs have garnered immense appreciation from audiences who eagerly await its release.

Vikas Bahl directorial, Shaandaar is all set to release on 22nd of October, 2015.
