Parineeti Chopra: Harder you fight, Higher you soar!

“4 years ago, a chubby, childish girl was
introduced to the world.
4 years later, I am where I want to be.
A very special photoshoot, made me get rid of
my inhibitions, and portray the strong, confident
girl I feel today.
Anybody who thinks it’s a challenge,
Take it from me – you can also do it!
Because I am sure that, like me, like me, even you are
built that way.”

Tanima Bhattacharya: Where are our modern values?

Meet Tanima Bhattacharya, a girl from a non-filmy background. Her initial aspirations were to join the armed forces. She then decided to complete Bachelors of Commerce from Kolkata. It is destiny that has brought her into Bollywood.
Tanima makes her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film Saankal which releases early next year.

Saankal is about an age old custom which is still prevalent in interiors of Rajasthan, near the Pak border, there are several ‘Kabilas’ (communities).

This Kabila has a custom that that girl from that community marries within that community itself, and nowhere else. This leads to a gender imbalance in that community where the females are more in number than the males.
Tanima Bhattacharya plays the central character of the film who is forced to marry a 10 year old boy Kesar.

Sonu Sood’s intense horse riding for Kung Fu Yoga

Sonu Sood is currently shooting for Jackie Chan’s forthcoming Hollywood film, Kung Fu Yoga, being directed by Stanley Tong.

The fitness enthusiast, who plays a royal character in his debut English venture, learnt horse riding for the movie. The actor shares screen space with a horse and falcon belonging to the UAE royal family.

Sonu says, “It was tough riding a horse striding across the hot sands, with the powerful and heavy falcon, perched on my hand. That is my introductory scene in the film. Both animals belong to the UAE royal family.”

“I can stand on a horse and ride now. I learned horse riding during Jodhaa Akbar. Stanley thought making my entry on a horse would look regal and larger-than-life. But as they say, the most beautiful visuals can be achieved under the most difficult conditions,” Sonu adds.

The talented actor, who is all praise for producer and co-star Jackie Chan, informs, “Jackie is one of the finest, most grounded superstars I have met. It is a treat to work with him. He takes care of you and makes you feel very special.”

The actor is flying to China next week to shoot the remaining scenes of Kung Fu Yoga.
