Madhur Bhandarkar’s Indu Sarkar screened at Atharva Institute of Film and Television

 

7th September 2017, Mumbai: One of the most successful filmmakers in India, Madhur Bhandarkar held a special screening of his latest film – Indu Sarkar at Atharva Film Institute of Film and Television.
 
Indu Sarkar is a critically acclaimed film based on the 1975 emergency held in India starring Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam Kher and Tota Roy Chowdhury. Along with Madhur Bhandarkar, lead actress of the film Kirti Kulhari was also present to interact with the students.
 
Indian Princess Winner 2014 Chandni Sharma was the moderator of the event. After the screening, a small Q/A session followed between the filmmaker and the students who would be entering the world of cinema soon.
 
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was quoted saying, “Indu Sarkar is a critically acclaimed film which explores an important period in the history of India. The youth needs to be aware about the emergency period in India. Swati Aggarwal to appear in Telugu comedy thriller

Swati Aggarwal is now ready to tickle your funny bones in a Telugu comedy thriller!


Actress Swati Aggarwal, known for her films like Main Krishna Hoon, Zindagi 50 50  and Tomchi is gearing up for her big Telugu release – “Ikkada Evaraina” is a Telugu comedy thriller directed by A Rajhu and produced by Venkat Subramaniyam.

 
 
The shooting for the film has already begun and it is expected to release soon. Actress Swati Aggarwal shared, “I am super excited about this role as it also has grey shades apart from being a comedy role. This film is a different experience for me and I am sure this will boost my career graph in a big way.”

Shivmudra Pratishthan organizes the biggest Dahi Handi Mahaotsav!


Aala Re Aala…Govinda Aala
 was the only slogan which everyone could hear at Shivmudra Pratishthan’s Dahi Handi Mahaotsav held at Worli Naka, Mumbai. Various celebrities were present to cheer gopalas of different age groups through their cultural performances. Also present at this occasion were President  of Shivmudra Pratishthan and General secretary of BJP, Mumbai Sunil Rane along with Dattaji Rane (Former Education Minister) and Shri. Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Member of Parliament.

The evening celebrations began with Ganesh Puja and Saraswati Vandana. Performances on popular Marathi songs entertained the audience a lot. Infact, songs like ‘Yeh Mera DilLaila Main LailaJahan Teri Yeh Nazar Hai’ ruled the evening.  

Arun Kadam, Niyati Rajwade, Anshuman Vichare, Suhas Paranjpe, Meghna Erande, Abhijeet Kosambi, Kavita Nikam, Sussan Bernet, Gurleen Chopra, Sara Sravan, Deepali Sayed  were present to cheer the gopalas with their various entertaining performances.

Several Govinda Groups from Mumbai and Suburban Areas participated but Shree Adi Shakti Mahila Mandal was announced the winner this year.  

Sunil Rane of Shivmudra Pratishthan said, “It is a happy co-incidence that Independence Day and Gokulashtami are being celebrated on the same day. We have followed all the safety measures to ensure not a single Govinda gets hurt. Performances on Marathi and Hindi songs have uplifted the celebratory mood today.”
