How the 'Heartless' girl Ariana Ayam was discovered by Shekhar Suman

Its totally Filmy - Ariyana Ayam’s, behind the scene story

Shekhar Suman was looking for a fresh face who would still be able to hold her own against stalwarts like Deepti Naval and Om Puri, in a role that required as much performance as glamour.

Its’ not just marriages, if Bollywood is to be believed then ‘heaven’ even has its’ own casting agents, making casting calls for movies to be shot on Earth. How else would one explain the chosen few, who never stand in a single audition line, yet get ‘discovered’ purely by chance and launched in films, that go on to make them stars?

Interesting films often have equally filmy, behind the scene stories. Case in point the casting of, Ariana Ayam who stars opposite Adhyayan Suman in Shekhar Suman’s directorial venture ‘Heartless’. While hundreds of girls were auditioned for this role that requires a strong female protagonist, the one to bag it was a graphic designer from New York, who did not even know that the film’s casting was underway.

Vidyut's impressive stunts in Bullet Raja

After being highly appreciated in Commando and Force, actor Vidyut Jamwal, made a special appearance in the recently released film, Bullet Raja.

The actor agreed to do the cameo only for the action sequences and for his equation with the director Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Even though it was a guest role in the film, trade analysts as well as audiences felt that his performance was highly impactful and strong.

Since it was a cameo, Vidyut had very limited screen time and in that much time, the action hero of the industry managed to grab the attention of the audiences in a great way.

Ram-Leela Hindi film review

Ram-Leela Film Review: ****

Deepika Padukone fans wouldn't want to miss this film.

If you are a Ranveer Singh fan - this is the best performance from him so far in his career.

Goliyon Ki Raaslila - Ram Leela is a modern day adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This action-romantic story is about Ram (Ranveer Singh) and Leela (Deepika Padukone) who belong to two feuding families of Rajadis and Sanedas residing in an imaginative border town.

Ranveer and Deepika share superb earthen sensuality which is visible on screen.

The cinematography is brilliant, it has colourful sets, glittering opulence and glittering costumes. It will impress a vast percentage of the audience with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s superb storytelling skills of this creative and highly talented craftsman.

Grand Masti - Bollywood Film Review

Grand Masti comes from the makers of Masti (2004), and ever since its initial promos it was projected as an adult comedy film, and so it is.

It isn’t expected to be a family film. Though the comedy at times falls much below our expectations. Simply put, most of the times it is cheap humour.

Take for instance, even the first part – Masti wasn’t appreciated by the family audience or the classes. This one too would be lapped up by the masses. Especially the Indian audience, maybe because there have never been Bollywood adult comedies before which can be equated or compared with.

It is a bit surprising that Deshmukh Junior and Vivek Oberoi signed for such ‘adult comedy’ which in its conclusion, is much below the ideal or broadly adult comedy levels.

Grand Masti is about three ex-students of a college – Amar, Prem and Meet (Ritesh Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi respectively) and it begins with them teaching their juniors how to have a good time at college. Like for example ‘A’ stands for – and then the camera zooms into the girls’ backside, ‘B’ stands for – and the camera zooms to woman’s chest.

Amar, Prem and Meet are married, but not satisfied with their sex life. The problem with these married men is that their wives give more attention to their family, the kids and their work.
