Goan-born economist and entrepreneur Sadhvi Sail is a woman on a mission. On the 1st of May, Goa witnessed an extraordinary celebration as its daughter, Sadhvi Sail, returned home after winning the prestigious Femina Miss India World 2026 crown. Her arrival marks a proud milestone as she now prepares to represent India at Miss World 2027. She was accorded a grand welcome at Goa International Airport, followed by a vibrant procession culminating at Shri Damodar Temple, where she sought blessings. The celebrations continued with a press meet at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage.

During her interaction with the media, Sadhvi Sail shared heartfelt insights into her journey and future aspirations, saying, “My biggest inspirations are my Nani (grandmother) and my parents, who have been my constant strength.” Reflecting on her rapid rise, she added, “My modelling and pageant journey started just one and a half years ago, and today I feel a huge responsibility as I prepare to represent India at Miss World next year.” Expressing her creative ambitions, Sadhvi further said, “I am keen to work in movies. My favourite actor is Sidharth Malhotra, but I want to do women-led films where I get the opportunity to perform and portray strong characters.”
