Shemaroo releases music DVDs of 101 hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s

After bringing to you melodies of your favourite singers, music composers and Super Stars,Shemaroo Entertainment now releases 3 DVD titles  to take you through a  musical journey of the glorious decades called 101 Hits of 1960s, 101 Hits of 1970s & 101 Hits of 1980s . Each pack consisting of 3 dvds each. feature Original Videos of Hindi Film Songs.Film music has always played a very important role in our lives. 

While each decade had its own flavour of music, it also had the power to shape up the psyche and sensibilities of its generation.   1960’s was known for its romantic melodies, whether it was the colossal Black & White hit “Mughal-E-Azam” or the colourful blockbuster “Sangam”. The film canvas and its actors underwent a big change in 1970s  but its music scaled great greater heights with R.D.Burman & Laxmikant Pyarelal ruling the charts. The trend changed in 1980’s with the emergence of star sons. The films became brighter with the ‘Disco’ generation, yet the 80’s witnessed some of the most  melodious & hummable Music.

While the 3 dvd pack “Hits Of 1960”s features fantabulous songs such as ‘Govinda Ala Re Aala’ from “Bluff Master”, ‘Paan Khaaye Sainya Hamaro’ from “Teesri Kasam”, ‘Pardesiyon Se Na..’ from “Jab Jab Phool Khile” & many more, the other 3 dvd pack, “Hits Of 1970s” has immortal melodies like  ‘ Hai Re Hai Neend  Nahin  Aaye..’ from “Humjoli”, “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ from “Blackmail”, ’Jaanejaan Dhoondhta Phir Raha” from “Jawani Diwani”, among others.
