CALL FOR ENTRIES
Short film submissions are open for the Rolling Frames Short film summit 2014. Live action, Documentary and Animated short films unto 30 minutes are accepted. The films can be of any language with English subtitles. The last date for submission is on 5th June 2014. 

The shortlisted films will contend for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Child Artist, Best Director, etc. there are a total of 17 awards on session of Live action, Animation and documentary. A panel of eight jury members will announce the selected films for screening 10 days before the event and award for the films will be announced on the last day of the event

A brief about Rolling Frames Short Film Summit – 
The “ROLLING FRAMES SHORT FILM SUMMIT” 2014 is being organised by Rolling Frames Film Society in association with Bangalore Film Society, Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI), Association of Bangalore Animation Industries (ABAI), Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy (Govt. of Karnataka), Indian Council for Cultural Relations – ICCR (Govt. of India), British Council, and other reputed professional organisations during 5th and 6th July 2014 at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore.

Republic of Suriname is the country partner for the event. Indian National Award winning Film Director T S Nagabharna is the Organising Committee Chairman for the ROLLING FRAMES SHORT FILM SUMMIT.

‘Rolling Frames Short Film Summit’ is an annual event of Rolling Frames Film Society (affiliated to Federation of Film Societies of India) which is a Bangalore based non-profit Society formed primarily to facilitate networking among Professionals from the Film/ Animation/ VFX Industry and Film enthusiasts. The society hosts and supports Film/ Animation/ Theatre/ Photography related events.  

Rolling Frames Short Film Summit 2014 like the Summit organized last year in 2013 is designed as a unique event with an International Short Film Festival, Seminar on Film making & Animation, Exhibition showcasing industries/ institutes related to films & animation, and Networking of professionals related to films & Animation at a common venue.

Sanchiti Sakat dubs lavni for Marathi film Ntrutyangana at Nysa Studio


Sanchiti Sakat at the age of 13 sings 1st song Lavni for a Marathi film Nrutyangana at Nysa Studio in Andheri.

The Film is produced by Pratima Janardan Shinde and Aashish Keni,written and directed by Janardan Shinde.

Lyrics by Ramesh Bhalerao and music by Manoj Tikariya.Pushpa Thakur is heroine of the film who plays Nrutyangana.Sudhakar Sharma,Raju Sakat,Swati Sakat and Rohan Sakat came specially to support Sanchiti Sakat.

This is the first film playback after her debut album Aamchi Mumbai. 

BOLLYWOOD SUPERSTAR SALMAN KHAN LAUNCHES THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE MOVIE KHWAABB

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan today launched the music album of the upcoming Bollywood movie Khwaabb at a glittering ceremony at Taj, Lands End.  

KHWAABB is a sports drama, showcasing the struggle of our athletes. Produced by Arjuna Awardee MoraadAli Khan, it features newcomers Navdip Singh and Simer Motiani in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes actors like Nafisa Ali, Rishi Mighlani and Theatre Star Bajrangbali Singh.

The album is an eclectic mix of various genres of music. It includes a powerhouse title track performed by Sonu Nigam, composed by acclaimed musician Sandeep Chowta. The album has a rustic fun track- TV ki Jai Ho performed by Kailash Kher and a soft love ballad Shamein performed by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. Both songs  have been composedby Sajjad Ali Chandwani. Young and brilliant talent, Amal Mallik has scored the soundtrack of the film. Top international drummer Virgil Donati has played on the title track, the lyrics for which have been penned by Sameer.  

KHWAABB soundtrack brings together a great amalgamation of talent, music and flavours that music lovers would enjoy. The event witnessed some of the most prominent personalities of the Entertainment fraternity in attendance. Amongst those who graced the occasion were Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Daboo Malik and Moraad Ali Khan.According to Producer Moraad Ali Khan, & "If you are a sports lover, sportsperson or yours kids play sports; I can assure you that Khwaabb will relate to some part of  your own story. I had an amazing young and talented team who have translated the story into a truly entertaining and inspirational film";.Zaid Ali Khan, Director, Khwaabb said, “It has been an immensely daunting and enriching experience, scoring this film. These superb musicians have really brought the story to life. I think it has been a great collaboration and I am very excited to see how the listeners respond to this album/ 

The Movie Khwaabb is a story about the birth of a dream, of ambition and the fierce passion to achieve that dream amidst unceasing tribulations. This intense personal journey is set in the larger, bureaucratic world of Indian sports. It illustrates why a country with a population of 1.2 billion people cannot producemedal-winning athletes. Khwaabb is the story of two such athletes and their struggle to succeed in the cutthroat, debauched and mired world of Indian sports. The album is available exclusively on Junglee Music.
