Om Puri launches Trailer of PROJECT MARATHWADA

Jairush Entertainment & Wadia Productions launch the Poster & Trailer of their Hindi film “PROJECT MARATHWADA” in presence of cast & crew and media.

The trailer showcases a very sensitive issue faced by nation today about farmer suicides.

It captures the painful sentiments of the poverty stricken families and shows the extent to which these people are forced to budge.

Veteran actor “Om Puri” portrays the character of Tukaram in this film has been show cased as distressed farmer in the trailer, whose conducting his son last rituals who commits suicide and is in hapless situation. Each moment highlights the grave loss and the helplessness of the people living in the village with zero hopes.

But the twist in the story develops after “Om Puri” decides to end his life as he fails in all the attempts of getting any help from the corrupt system.

The film also stars Seema Biswas, Govind Namdeo, Dilip Tahil, Farrah Kedar, Caroll, Kunal Seth and Rahul Patel.

It is Produced by Prakash Patel, Jigna Patel, Jay Prakash Patel and Co-produced by Niraj Patel, Parful Patel, Sandip Patil, Sadiva Khan, Bhavin Wadia & Eagle Eye Entertainment.

Written & Directed by Bhavin Wadia, DOP Archit Patel, and the Background Music is rendered by Sanjoy Chowdhary.

Jairush Entertainment & Wadia Productions strongly believe that leveraging this issue on such a big platform will bring forth the true crisis situation of the farmers being faced in our nation and wake up the dormant government to help the fateful farmers of our nation .

PROJECT MARATHWADA is all set for Release on 3rd June, 2016 across India.

Javed Jaffrey sings for Marathi Film – Youth

In ‘Youth- Badal Ghadvaychi Takaad’ movie there ought to be some youthful music

At the music launch ceremony of upcoming Marathi film ‘Youth-Badal Ghadvaychi Takaad’ actor Javed Jaffrey stole the show with rendering a number which is, for the first time, sung by himself for the film.

‘There are four songs which ought to appeal to the youth” mentioned the versatile actor, dancer and now a singer, Javed Jaffrey who has rendered the rap song ‘Band Kar Raag….Dokyat Geli Aag’.

Producer Sundar Sethuraman says, “The film is based on the excitement and expectations of young generations. More so it tackles the most relevant subject of drought in the hinterland of Maharashtra”. Sundar is the CEO of The Voice Bank, a Sub Agency which has produced Radio spots, audio visuals and ad-films since years.

Says Sundar Seturaman, “All the four songs are sung by many youth voices, like the vibrant song ‘Paani Harawala, Koni Te Chorala‘ a bharood sung by Swanand Kirkire, a romantic ‘Je Hote Mala, Hote Ka Tula‘, love song which marks the debut of Arman Malik with ‘Bedhund Befikir Uhnad Wara Mi Majhya Isharyavar Chale Dunia Hi’ and another youth song in the voice of Chinmay Hulalkar,Jagdissh Pawar and Shalmali Kholgade.”

In the last few years, the web series format has been increasingly catching the attention of audiences with popular shows. So much so that brand investment in web series has risen by 30-40% in India

Flash Frame Visuals Academy of Film & Television (FFVA), a Bangalore based film school is launching a travel based hinglish web series ‘NIMRAT- a funnily twisted voyage”. Its being produced by Aditi Soni and T G Keerthi Kumar, founders of FFVA.

“Already known for well equipped hands-on training and industry recognized student projects, NIMRAT will be a big leap for students. They will Write, Shoot and edit the project”, says the Founder and Creative Head Aditi Soni.
