Taapsee travels by Delhi Metro

Taapsee travels by Delhi Metro

Taapsee Pannu who recently left town for Delhi to shoot her upcoming film with Mr Bachchan, travelled via the local metro while in the city. Terming the mode of transport as faster, the actress chose to travel in the metro on hearing about traffic on her desired route to the shoot. Also her shoot venue was almost 2 hours away from her home.

Taapsee who has a history with metros as she resided in Delhi is familiar with the mode of transport to avoid any delays. On gaining the impromptu opportunity of reliving his Delhi days, the actress insisted on using the convenient mode of transport. Where many actors are known for their starry tantrums she just didn't let anything stop her from getting a feel from her past days.

When contacted Taapsee, she said “ There was too much traffic and used to take me 2 hours every day to reach my destination. So I decided to take the metro since I was directly reaching the station without changing the metro. It was pretty cool and me being a Delhi girl, I am proud to be so well connected”

e same Akshat says, " I am very excited about being a part of Bombairiya. It is a special script and the writing is unique. The irony of the journey from Delhi Belly to Bombairiya is something that I have only just registered. I suppose it's quite special being associated with the top two cities of India. I'm not a trained actor but being on the other side of the camera has been an amazing experience. Pia is a great director and is very clear about her vision. She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it from her actors.'
Akshat is also directing Anushka's Sharma's next project. It will be a fun experience to see how a real life director depicts himself in a film.

Fugly – Hindi Movie review

Rating: **

Unsuccessful attempt at creating a 'Me too' product of Rang De Basanti.

“Fugly” is a story of four close friends Dev (Mohit Marwah), Devi (Kiara Advani), Gaurav (Vijendra Singh) and Arfi Lamba (Tatti). Here Gaurav is a son of politician (Hari Singh Ahalawat) who is instrumental in often bailing out his friends whenever they are in a ditch. Or in simple words ‘saved’ whenever they break any rules. Hence these four move around as ‘tension free guys’.

Except for watching Mohit Marwah (Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s cousin), and even more than him, the young generation would like to go and watch it for our Olympian medalist Vijender Singh in his debut film. He is just awesome. Other than these guys, there aren’t any praiseworty performances from rest of the cast, and hence support of special appearances by Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.

Chal Bhaag – Hindi Movie Review

Rating: ***

A wannabe new age quickie about Delhi underbelly with all the ingredients, like larger than life Dons, corrupt to the core Police Personnel (it seems the department has become a favorite whipping boy of one and all including any Tom Dick and Harry).

The movie begins with the murder of an ex-MLA, then the director goes on to establish the three protagonists - Munna Supari (Deepak Dobriyal) is a road-side tapori (smarty), a petty thief Bunty (Tarun Bajaj) and the third Guy Daler Singh (Varun Mehra), an outcast, is a bit of a mystery to himself, shown as a hungry tiger.

The Delhi Police is under pressure, as per their reports the MLA was murdered by three shooters. The incident coincides with the arresting of Munna, Bunty and Daler for their small time crimes.
