SULTAN - Movie Review

Rating: ***

A tale about an underdog wrestler’s journey, looking for a comeback by defeating all odds stacked up against him. But when he has nothing to lose and everything to gain in this fight for his life match, Sultan must literally fight for his life.
For Salman Khan fans, ‘Sultan’ is Full Paisa Vasool. The ups and downs of Sultan Ali Khan. a 30 something settled in profession of installing TV connections for a Direct to Home (DTH) provider, as he dreams of representing India at the Olympics and who begins with fighting his way to become a local wrestling champion and ending with the world at his feet.
Review:
For Sallubhai fans – Don’t waste your time reading this review, just go and watch it.
For others – TINA (There is No Alternative) on Idd holidays. This is a solo hindi film release.
There are some encouraging words of wisdom in the film, like “Wrestling is not a sport it’s about fighting what lies within” and “the path to glory is a rocky one and one must fall several times before one stands victorious – More often than not, this journey can take a lifetime”.

Do Lafzon Ki Kahani – movie review


Do Lafzon ki Kahani is a mushy romantic fairytale idea of love, about sacrifice and depicts suffering for the sake of one’s beloved. It begins well yet it has flashes of the cinema of ‘90s
A romantic drama directed by Deepak Tijori is a remake of the 2011 Korean movie ‘Always’. Do Lafzon Ki Kahani features Randeep Hooda and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
A gifted actor that he is Randeep Hooda comes up with yet another powerful performance. He is equally balanced by Kajal Aggarwal’s acting as a girl who has lost her vision in an accident where she loses her parents. Jenny has an inclination towards Indian culture so much so that she is is obsessed with the regular ‘saas bahu’ type serials.
Suraj (Randeep Hooda) is a part-time boxer in Malaysia. Jenny (Aggarwal) is a blind girl, on meeting whom Suraj falls in love with. When he comes to know that the reason for her blindness in he himself, he decides to have her operated.

It’s a wrap for ‘Sarbjit’


Omung Kumar's much talked about biopic 'Sarbjit' finally wrapped up it's shooting on Wednesday 23rd March, 2016 .The movie has completed its shooting schedule and is gearing up for release on 20th May. Setting a record of shooting the film in just 52 days,the cast and crew are currently rejoicing with a sigh of relief. Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadda and Darshan Kumar, Sarbjit portrays the life story of Sarbjit Singh, an Indian farmer who who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan.

Since it was a biopic, the director Omung Kumar chose real locations which were related to Sarbjit Singh's life. Commencing their shoot journey with a set created in Mumbai of a Pakistani jail , to shooting at Palghar, the beautiful   Golden Temple to the mesmerizing small villages of Punjab, the locations had a varying range. Kick starting it schedule in December 2015, the makers completed the shoot smoothly in the planned 52 days. 


Producer Sandeep  Singh say's "To make a film is a team effort, and when everyone in the team is equally passionate about the subject in hand there's hardly anything unachievable. To pull of such a demanding film in 52 days is the result of this passion and dedication.

The film is slated for release on 20th May worldwide and will be premiered at the prominent Cannes Festival in May.

Rang Rasiya – Hindi movie review

Raja Ravi Verma had hiterto been an enigma to the common populace. For a child of all generations for over the centuries. His paintings on Gods have adorned many a temples and private mandirs in millions of homes across India.
Raja Ravi Varma was a renowned Indian painter and artist in the late 19th century who achieved recognition for his paintings depicting scenes from Indian literature and mythology including the epics of Mahabharata and Ramayana.
He is considered among the greatest painters in the history of Indian art and his paintings are considered to be among the best examples of the fusion of Indian traditions with the techniques of European academic art.

Be ready for the Devil this Eid

This year's Eid is set to be celebrated by the most awaited film Kick.

Salman Khan starrer, Kick had its trailer launch on 15th June at Gaiety Theater.

A few Salman Khan fans were invited for the trailer launch who exclusively got to see the trailer of the film with him.

The entire cast of the film which included Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernández, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Randeep Hooda were present for the theatrical launch along with Director Sajid Nadiadwala, music composer Himesh Reshammiya, screenplay writer Chetan Bhagat and Siddharth Roy Kapur.

The film which will debut Sajid Nadiadwala as the director received roaring applause from the audience on the trailer.

Like Salman's other film the film has action, drama and a lover story but unlike his other films the action has gone a notch higher.

Murder 3 - A gripping thriller.


Murder 3 is an official adaptation of the Colombian thriller ‘The Hidden Face’.

‘This Valentine’s Love Will be Murdered’ the tagline of this film describes the film in a gist. Producers of this film – Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios have officially acquired the rights of the film which was directed by Andres Baiz.

‘Murder 3’ marks the directorial debut of Vishesh Bhatt and it stars Randeep Hooda, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren

Vikram (Randeep Hooda) is a hot-shot fashion and wildlife photographer. He gets into a relationship with Nisha (Sara Loren) and then she moves in with him in his palatial house on the outskirts of the city.

This old world house, made almost a century ago is as beautiful as it is scary. It is well maintained and also holds many secrets which Nisha is soon to unearth.
